2. put something to good use - to use something in a way that will be beneficial

    → (예문) The hacker put his talent to good use when he began working for a security firm.

 

3. work out the details - to agree upon all aspects of a contract or deal

    (국문 설명) 세부 사항을 협의하다[해결하다]

    → (예문) I worked out the details of the rental agreement and moved in the next day.

Correction: Bill took the money he won in the lottery and put it to good use.
